The Vernon County Historical Society is the officially recognized county organization for the preservation of Vernon County's historical heritage. It is governed by an Executive Board that meets monthly and operates four historical sites: The Vernon County Museum, Old St. Mary's Church Museum, the Foreaker One Room Schoolhouse, and the historic Sherry-Butt House.

The next meeting is Wednesday, March 10th at Western Technical College in Viroqua. Networking starts at 5:30, program begins at 6:00 pm.
The topic will be “Approaching investors and more.” David Banner will share his lessons learned through working with investors, finding the right timing and marketing, taking a product to commercialization and mentoring business startups.
