Teaching a New Dog Old Tricks

Joel Gordon, a retired businessman from New York's Madison Avenue and Mark Troy, founder of Dairyland Printing in Viroqua will focus on key marketing principles which will turn around your business but have been largely lost or forgotten.

Perhaps not a silver bullet, but many midwest small firms were successful adhering to these marketing concepts which apply to products, services, and can be applied starting tomorrow. These firms got outsourced or off-shored and we got coerced into a consuming society instead of a producing society. Joel Gordon, a retired businessman from New York's Madison Avenue with experience in package goods and financial services on both agency and corporate side left NYC to found two wholly-owned businesses grown in a town the same size as Viroqua. Joel will show how the BRIC countries, anonymous German firms, and businesses right here in Vernon County are still posting annual sales gains way above the national growth rate. How? By applying the same tried and true marketing principles.

Whether you have an idea or just like to think business, plan to attend for a dynamic evening of networking with lots of creative people. Everyone is welcome!

We hope to see you at the club!
